Spec Ops Missions

Assault a marked purple enemy FOB, rescue the friendly medic hostage, recruit him into your group and return him alive to Camp Bastion safe zone.

1. Start the mission from the Spec Ops menu.
2. Move to the purple Save the Medic marker.
3. Scout the FOB, armed vehicle, bunker, tower and infantry.
4. Clear the enemy without killing the medic.
5. Move to the medic and use Rescue Medic - Join My Group.
6. Load the medic into a vehicle and return him to Camp Bastion.
7. Mission completes when the medic is alive inside the safe-zone radius.

Attack an enemy communications FOB, hack the laptop, then clear all remaining defenders. Completing this reveals enemy AI for 2 minutes.

1. Move to the purple Retrieve Enemy Communication marker.
2. Clear enough enemies to reach the laptop.
3. Stand near the laptop and use Hack Enemy Communications.
4. Stay within 8m during the 10-second hack.
5. After the hack, clear all remaining defenders.
6. The mission completes when the laptop is hacked and the FOB is clear.

Escort a friendly HEMTT cargo truck from Camp Bastion to a destination while enemy intercept waves attack it.

1. Find the cargo truck marker.
2. Organise front security, close escort and rear security.
3. Stay with the HEMTT; do not abandon it.
4. Destroy enemy intercept vehicles quickly.
5. Repair the truck if damaged.
6. Mission completes when the truck reaches within 100m of the destination.

Harder cargo escort with extra vehicle threat chance in each wave.

1. Start only with enough players.
2. Use at least two escort vehicles.
3. Keep an engineer with or near the truck.
4. Destroy armed offroads before they get close.
5. Regroup after each wave.
6. Get the truck to the destination alive.

Extreme cargo escort with more waves and multiple hostile vehicles per wave.

1. Treat it like a full server operation.
2. Use lead scout, close escort, rear escort and repair support.
3. Prioritise armed vehicles and AT infantry.
4. Repair and heal after every wave.
5. Complete by keeping the HEMTT alive to the destination.

Two-phase mission: hack enemy comms at a FOB, then rescue the hostage medic at the revealed location and return him to Camp Bastion.

1. Move to Phase 1: Hack Enemy Comms.
2. Clear enough of the FOB to reach the laptop.
3. Hack the laptop by staying close for 10 seconds.
4. Move to the revealed hostage marker.
5. Clear the hostage FOB.
6. Use Rescue Medic - Join My Group.
7. Return the medic to Camp Bastion before the 45-minute timer expires.

The biggest Spec Ops mission. Clear a hostile FOB, release a medic transport truck, then escort it to Socially Unsocial HQ.

1. Move to the marked hostile FOB.
2. Clear 20 enemy infantry and 2 armed vehicles.
3. Do not release the truck until the FOB infantry are dead.
4. Use Release clamp and give keys on the truck.
5. Escort the truck to Socially Unsocial HQ.
6. Fight off 5 to 10 intercept waves.
7. Mission completes when the truck reaches within 100m of HQ.

This mission appears in the Spec Ops menu as Recover and Destroy Assets | 500 pts, but the checked Spec Ops system does not include a matching start case for Recover and Destroy Assets.
